President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced that next Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31 will not hold his conferences of morning press, known as Las Mañaneras, due to the elections to be held on Sunday, June 2.
During his morning conference this Wednesday, the president explained that he will not hold morning meetings to don’t get into controversy before the elections that fall on the first weekend of June.
Likewise, AMLO affirmed that his conferences will normally between now and May 29day established by the National Electoral Institute (INE) as the last day to campaign.
López Obrador’s announcement came as part of the news he announced that starting this Monday the 13th, and until the 29thbegin to a tour of the Republic to address the issue of health, since it is one of their commitments to “have the entire public health system working very well before I finish.”
