From Pragmata we have practically lost track of them for some time, and in the absence of communications from Capcom we turn to the rumors to try to glean some information on this fascinating but still largely mysterious project, in particular regarding the details of the story.
Reporting them is Dusk Golema leaker who has a rather mixed CV but who has proven to have possible connections with Capcom, considering that previous previews on the titles of the company in question have often proven correct, so we take him into consideration in this case too.
Apparently, it would be a sci-fi story about two robots who found themselves stranded on the moon, following a failed attempt by humans to colonize the satellite.
“Pragmata tells of two robots living on the moon, following a failed attempt to colonize the satellite which was then abandoned by humans,” we read in the messages published by Dusk Golem on X.
A science fiction story with emotional implications
According to Dusk Golem, the moon was abandoned by humans once robots and artificial intelligence take control of the colony, causing the human colonization experiment to fail.
At that point, instead of solving the problem, humans simply abandoned the satellite and managed to disconnect the connections with AI and robots, retreating to Earth and thinking in this way to keep themselves safe, convinced that they could not reach them.
The story therefore tells of two robots who have evolved and begun to show signs of “humanity” and a strong one desire to return to Earth. This is what Dusk Golem reported and the question could actually be plausible, if you consider the little we have seen so far on Pragmata.
In fact, in the presentation trailer and subsequent materials some of these elements emerge between earth, moon, futuristic technologies, robots and humanoid figures. At this point we await any developments on the issue: Pragmata is also an action game with narrative elements, according to what the leaker reported.
