In this third world country, it is very common for rulers to boast when inaugurating public works, despite the fact that the economic resources used for it come from our taxes and rights that we cover from the public treasury by constitutional obligation.
This, however, also means that it is an obligation of the authorities, among many other things, to invest in infrastructure and its maintenance. Although, it is very common for these rulers to give themselves a lot of personal propaganda by waving banners or cutting ribbons on the occasion of the inauguration of some public work.
Likewise, in these types of events it is customary to take photographs and videos, as if it were a grace. In these events, politicians generally seek to position themselves in the best angle to come out as outstanding as possible, as if it were a beauty pageant that even seems to be experts in histrionics.
Hence, politicians, for the most part, behave like egocentric people, but in real life they are grotesque and contemptible, although they appear to be very nice, but they have absolutely nothing of that. Faced with this appearance, we observe many people who are dazzled by this type of characters, to such a degree that they are even fascinated, but when they get to know them up close and in depth, serious disappointments occur.
So, don’t trust that type of histrionic politicians who are very expert at deceiving people, especially when they are on a political campaign, whom we see with a smile that even shows all their teeth or plates. The latter when they use dental prostheses due to their advanced age, as are some current rulers who are even dodgy, but have not realized that they are already old or in full old age.
Even so, this type of politician boasts when they are in power and when they inaugurate public works, as if the money invested in them were from their own pocket; reaching, even, the extreme of mythomania, a psychological disease that its protagonists believe their own lies; whose behavior, moreover, tends to mythologize or admire himself in an exaggerated way, as happens in a megalomaniac or arrogant person who, by the way, even feels like the center of the universe, as happens in all egocentric characters.
In such a way that, a politician who boasts of himself, is a narcissist by his very nature, who, in addition, is a person who suffers from delusions of grandeur, whose personality characteristic falls within psychotic disorders.
So, to that class of politicians it is recommended that they not boast of power, and even less when inaugurating public works, whose investments constitute the effort of the community, being the product of their taxes; from where, in addition, arises the budget destined to the “public image” of the governors that year after year is approved by the legislative body.
Hence, it would be good for said power to schedule the treatment and solution of this phenomenon, as a priority issue, in order to reduce as little as possible the budget allocated to “public image” or government advertising, with which, said be it step, that type of Third World politicians that abound throughout Mexico, and of course here in Sinaloa, would decrease. If you don’t believe it, observe how they settle for the photo or video at the inauguration of the aforementioned works, whose conduct is also in the weekly and morning conferences, in which they assume messianic poses. What a great transformation!
