Nintendo announced that Pokémon Snap will be added to the Nintendo 64’s library Switch Online next week.
The Nintendo 64 game will join the service on June 24 and will be available to Switch Online Expansion Pack subscribers.
Pokémon Snap originally came out for N64 in 1999 before being made available to Wii owners as a Virtual Console title in 2007.
The title sees players travel to Pokémon Island, where they meet Professor Oak and embark on a safari to better photograph over 60 different creatures.
A sequel for the Nintendo Switch, titled New Pokémon Snap, was released in April 2021.
The first-person game, co-developed by Bandai Namcochallenges players to photograph over 200 different types of Pokémon as they explore a colorful island.
Nintendo recently updated the Switch Online application with a patch that fixes a bug in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, the most recent N64 title added to the service.
The Pokémon Company, meanwhile, released around 60 million Pokémon games during the last financial year, which ended in March 2022.
The company claims that more than 440 million units of all Pokémon-related software have been sold since the series debut in 1996.
