The Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has left the concentration of the French team on Monday after injuring himself in training this afternoon due to a sore thigh that will prevent him from being in international commitments against Kazakhstan (November 13) and Finland (16). Veretout, a Roma midfielder, has been his replacement.
So far in 2021, Pogba has had his worst year as an international. He has barely played three games with the French team, he has not had regularity and his importance in the French team has been reduced notably. The ex of the Juventus has jumped today to the training only with Pavard and has been injured in a sequence of shots that, apparently, did not carry a high physical load.
Although the extent of the injury has not yet been determined, Pogba should not be, a priori, available in the game that will face United against Watford on 20 November. In the coming days, the French international will undergo new tests that will clarify how long he is off the pitch.
