Among the PSP classics coming to the catalog of PlayStation Plus Premium apparently there is also in the coming months Ridge Racer 2. The racing game was in fact mentioned in an official Sony video posted on the PlayStation Access YouTube channel, now deleted.
According to what is reported on the pages of VGC, in the movie the Sega racing game was included among the classics for PlayStation Plus Premium of October 2022, whereas the game is not mentioned in the list published by the PlayStation Blog and also reported on our pages.
As mentioned earlier, the PlayStation Access footage was subsequently removed from YouTube. The idea therefore is that Ridge Racer 2 was initially expected among the classics of October, but that for one reason or another Sony has decided to postpone its launch to the last, forgetting to update the contents of the aforementioned video, which consequently it was subsequently canceled.
After all, the game was also spotted on the PlayStation Network shortly before the launch of the new PS Plus tiers. In short, its debut in the Premium catalog now seems rather obvious.
