S-Game closed the Summer Game Fest with a gameplay video of its own Phantom Blade Zeroa game also shown at the recent PlayStation State of Play and which confirms itself as decidedly interesting with this one too trailer titled “The Blade is Drawn”.
The video consists of some gameplay sequences, which also show various fightingstaging the fast and dynamic action that distinguishes Phantom Blade Zero, with technical and rather challenging battles.
Previously we had seen an anime-style trailer with gameplay for the game, in this case however these are extracts taken entirely from the title itself, in development for PC and PS5.
Action in oriental mythology
Phantom Blade Zero was presented with a trailer during the PlayStation Showcase in May 2023 and immediately attracted attention for the particular setting inspired by oriental mythology.
This new video only confirms the good impressions received so far, in fact.
As we see in the trailer, Phantom Blade Zero is characterized by a dark fantasy setting that takes inspiration from the Chinese traditionsin which we play the role of Soul, an elite assassin from a mysterious organization called “The Order”, by whom he will however be betrayed.
Between combat and exploration, the game describes the protagonist’s journey of redemption and revenge, among fascinating settings and epic clashes, all built on Unreal Engine 5.
