The singer Featherweight, who has gained popularity especially among young audiences thanks to his musical successes, announced this Friday that he has canceled the tour he had scheduled in South America due to personal problems. This cancellation includes his participation in the last night of the Viña del Mar 2024 Festival.
“We are sorry to inform you that due to personal reasons, Peso Pluma will not be performing at the concerts/festivals scheduled in Viña Del Mar, Lima and Asunción. We hope to return to these territories soon to give you the experience you deserve.“, says the statement from the artist's office.
When was Featherweight going to be presented in Lima?
Originally, Featherweight had determined a concert in Lima on December 9, 2023. However, said event was rescheduled for Saturday March 2, 2024. The National Stadium was selected as the place to host the artist's Peruvian followers.
Given this change, Masterlive Peru, the production company responsible for the event, indicated that previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new date, maintaining the same location assigned to each spectator. Likewise, for those who prefer to request a refund for their tickets, it has been established that they can do so through Teleticket.
Now, according to the announcement from the team that works with the musical performer, this long-awaited event will no longer take place. However, the production company in question and Teleticket have not commented on the matter until the closing of this note.
