Pepe Alvarez has been re-elected general secretary of UGT for a third term with 79.44% of the votes of the delegates of the 44th Confederal Congress of the union, which closes this Wednesday in Barcelonaa support somewhat lower than the 85.83% achieved in the previous congress. Álvarez will continue in office for the next four years in what will be his last term.
The new Confederal Executive Commission It has been proclaimed with 79.44% of the votes cast, of which 627 were in favor, ten null and 152 blank, as explained by the general secretary of the UGT of Catalonia, Camil Roswho serves as president of the congressional board.
The new Confederal Executive Commission led by Álvarez has a continuing character with only three new faces: those of Lola Navarro Gimenezin the deputy secretary general; Andrés Jesús Ortaorganizational secretary; and Alejandra de la Fuente Donosoin the executive secretary.

The delegates have also proclaimed the commission for monitoring and evaluation of the code of ethics with 93.75% of the votes; the economic control commission, with 93.14% and the guarantees commission, with 93.71%.
