Composed by Pablo Preciado and produced by Pepe Aguilar, an American of Mexican descent, 'Hasta que me duermo' follows the line of a new “modern and fresh” mariachi concept that the artist has created to “take this tradition into the future.”
The song is the first of three singles prior to the release of his new album of unreleased material, which will go on sale next May.
In addition to the publication of this single, Pepe Aguilar, 55, winner of four Grammy Awards and five Latin Grammy Awards, announced the 'Jaripeo Hasta Los Huesos' tour, which will begin next March.
This tour will have a poster that will include performances by Ángela Aguilar and Leonardo Aguilar, the singer's children, and Antonio Aguilar, son.
The show will combine “traditional elements of the Jaripeo, such as horseback riding and bullfighting, with the unforgettable music of the Aguilar family,” the statement added.
