After 35 yearshe PRD “no longer exists“Zambrano Grijalva stressed, when giving a message together with leaders of the party and the New Left movement, published by the news outlet Aristegui Noticias.
“It pains me to say it, The PRD no longer existswhich with the original registration of the PCM (Mexican Communist Party), the PSUM (Unified Socialist Party of Mexico) and the PSM (Mexican Socialist Party), the fruit of glorious battles and multiple sacrifices, we built 35 years ago, no longer exists. .. Criticisms of Xóchitl Gálvez
Zambrano Grijalva criticized that Xóchitl Gálvez Ruizformer candidate of the opposition front (PAN-PRI-PRD) in the last elections, “never considered” the leaders of those parties in making decisions as basic as discursive lines and tours of the states, adds Aristegui Noticias.
“The social majority rejected Xóchitl and the PRI-PAN-PRD coalition. He didn’t trust us. We didn’t earn it. Certainly, multiple mistakes were made in the opposition coalition,” acknowledged the 70-year-old politician from Sonora.
“There was never a campaign strategy discussed and agreed upon by everyone: with the candidate, the allied parties and the representation of civil society. “The war room operated without coordination with the party leadership.”
Despite the significant financial resources provided, he added, the propaganda of the opposition candidates did not incorporate the image of Gálvez Ruiz.
“It was never clear what Xóchitl’s profile was, what she represented, what she offered, that is, without undermining her capacity and her invaluable and extraordinary efforts as a female candidate,” commented Zambrano Grijalva.
Regarding the June 2 elections, he expressed that “the blow of reality was brutal, we never really thought we would have those results.”
He said this by highlighting that the middle, upper middle and even upper classes voted for the candidate Claudia Sheinbaum.
“Except in several large cities, by the way, only 60% of the people voted and even there important sectors of the middle, upper middle and even upper classes voted for the candidate Sheinbaum.
In the federal election on June 2, Sheinbaum had 35,924,519 votes (59.7% of the total vote), while Gálvez only obtained 16,502,697 votes (27.4% of the vote).
