According to KHO, the association's registration as a party was based on a mistake.
Supreme The Administrative Court (KHO) revoked the registration of the openly racist Sinimusta movement as a party on Tuesday.
According to the KHO's preliminary decision, the party registration of the Sinimusta movement was based on a mistake. According to KHO, the public interest required the cancellation of the registration decision.
In January 2021, Sinimusta movement had applied for registration as a party from the Ministry of Justice. The ministry returned the application twice to the association for correction and pointed out, among other things, that the party's general program and rules must not conflict with human and fundamental rights.
In the end, the Ministry of Justice accepted the application and registered the association as a party in the party register in June 2022.
The Ministry of Justice applied to the Supreme Administrative Court to overturn its decision after the Sinimusta movement had submitted a new general program to the ministry at the request of the ministry.
The same entries that the ministry had not been able to accept had been returned to the new general program.
