The Sandbox announced today that it has partnered with Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media to create Cryptoween, a Halloween-themed experience that will land on the metaverse. The multiplayer experience will be open to everyone from 21 October to 7 November. Cryptoween is set during one of the parties organized by Paris Hilton, which, however, will need the help of the players: who will try their hand at a series of challenges and in-game missions, such as gathering a band of zombie Mariachi and removing the curse unleashed by a character evil, will be able to participate in a lottery that will give the chance to win Sand, the game currency, and NFT rewards. Last summer The Sandbox kicked off season 3 alpha, and in the meantime more brands have secured a part in one of the most popular metaverses right now. In The Sandbox, for example, any user’s NFTs are worth, and are used as a reward in many ad hoc experiences. In recent months The Sandbox has closed 27 deals with partners such as Snoop Dogg, The Walking Dead, Deadmau5, Sueco, Warner Music Group, Ubisoft’s Rabbids, BAYC, World of Women, The Smurfs, Steve Aoki, Metapride, Care Bears and Atari. Among the latest partnerships, The Sandbox has announced that it has partnered with ITV Studios to bring Gordon Ramsay’s reality show Hell’s Kitchen and make users live the experiences of the infamous restaurant housed in a special land of ITV Studios.
