Mario can “bend” and transform into a airplane of paper during the campaign Paper Mario: The Millennial Portalso Nintendo has seen fit to create a nice one tutorials together with the champion John Collins.
Collins is not just any guy: he held the title for ten years world record for flying distance for a paper airplaneso who better than him could explain how to create the perfect airplane in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Portal?
It’s not all: by clicking here you can download the model created by Nintendo for the airplane in question, embellished with the colorful graphics that we also talked about in the review of Paper Mario: The Millennium Portal.
A perfect remake
As the votes of the international press also demonstrate, Paper Mario: The Millennial Portal has proven to be a perfect remake of the title originally published on GameCube in 2004, therefore twenty years ago.
On the occasion of this re-release, the developers they redesigned most of the graphic assets from scratch of the game, making even those elements that initially appeared as simple two-dimensional sprites three-dimensional and seasoning everything with high-quality effects.
Of course, the downside is represented by the 30 fps instead of the original 60 fps, which for Digital Foundry are felt above all in situations where a certain precision is required, as well as in scrolling the scenarioclearly less fluid.
Beyond these compromises, however, Nintendo has once again confirmed its ability to brilliantly revisit its great classics.
