Pagani returns to The ICE St. Moritz – International Concours of Elegance, the exclusive Engadine competition which today brings together collectors, drivers and enthusiasts who come from all over the world to admire a parterre of dream cars on the frozen surface of the lake. The appointment is for Friday 23 and Saturday 24 February, a two-day event during which Pagani will exhibit the results of his latest projects which reflect the eclectic spirit of Horacio Pagani and his team: from automotive, to furniture, to collaborations of excellence.
The Pagani Utopia
For the first time, the Utopia will participate in the event, the car that opened the third act in the history of Pagani Automobili. It is a Hypercar with characteristics that make it a car against the current: its interiors, for example, rediscover the charm of analogue instrumentation; also going against the trend is the possibility of driving with a seven-speed manual gearbox, as well as the choice to favor lightness with a V12 engine built by AMG based on Pagani's indications. Production of the first series of Utopia Coupé is limited to 99 examples, all already assigned to a small circle of enthusiasts.
Pirelli P ZeroTM Trofeo RS
The Pirelli P ZeroTM Trofeo RS tire will also be on display, custom-developed for the Utopia by Pirelli, with the aim of elevating the sporty driving experience on the road and track. Task achieved also thanks to the compounds chosen; in particular, the most performing of the range was adopted for the rear tyres, capable of giving speed and safety on the track, ease and predictability in reactions on the road. Furthermore, thanks to the use of a long virtual development process, we worked on optimizing the footprint to offer more grip and control.
Zonda F Coupe
Outside the exhibition space will be the Zonda F Coupé which in 2007 set the new record for production cars (7'27”82) on the 20.6 km of the Nürburgring, the most important challenge field for hypercar manufacturers. The letter 'F' is a tribute to Juan Manuel Fangio, one of the most famous and beloved Formula 1 drivers in history, as well as friend and guarantor of Horacio Pagani's dream. The car features a two-tone livery with light gray and exposed carbon exterior and red leather interior. The care of the interiors is careful and meticulous as per Pagani tradition and is expressed in the Nardi steering wheel, in the wooden finishes and in the dashboard inspired by the principles of the trade adopted by ancient watchmakers. The weight of the car is reduced to a minimum, thanks to the use of titanium, aluminum and Inconel details.
Pagani Art
Pagani Arte is the new division born from the creative need to design objects characterized by precious craftsmanship, technology and attention to detail. Faithful to the Pagani tradition, the inspiration finds roots in the eclecticism of Leonardo da Vinci. The name itself, 'Art', originates from the ideal of combining Art and Science, as conceived by the genius of the Renaissance, who saw the two disciplines walking together, hand in hand. The lounge area of the exhibition will therefore be furnished with a series of pieces from the Iconic Collection, customized with exclusive finishes and coverings dedicated to the event.
Among the elements you can observe the Iconic Sofa, the Iconic Coffee Table, the Iconic Sideboard, the Iconic Dining Table and two Iconic Bergere.
So Horacio Pagani…
“Nothing reveals our essence more than our home, because it reflects who we are and how we live,” explains Horacio Pagani. “We used the same materials used in our Hypercars, to transfer some of the most advanced technological performance in the world to the furnishing elements. The skill of our master craftsmen in working with materials including carbon, aluminium, titanium, leather and wood becomes the heart and soul of our creations. Just like our cars, the Pagani Arte line is the result of a four-handed activity together with the customer.”
A unique camera
A corner of the space will be dedicated to the Pagani by Gibellini GP810HP camera, born after two years of analysis, studies and research which led to the integration of the know-how technique by Gibellini with the exclusivity of Pagani design and materials. Made entirely of aluminum and titanium with elements machined from solid, the GP810HP is a large format camera with analogue support, where the sensor on which the photograph is printed is a large photosensitive plate, 20×25 cm. The Pagani DNA is immediately perceived. The rotating head is entirely made of billet aluminium, while the professional tripod was designed in leather-covered carbon, and the pedestal on which to place the camera is also made of carbon fibre, aluminum and Alcantara. There is the possibility of configuring the camera exactly like the configuration of your car, resulting in an exclusive concept and design. The GP810HP model, like every Pagani creation, can be purchased exclusively through the official Pagani Automobili channels or can be ordered by contacting Pagani dealers around the world.
