A particular job offer caught the attention of Internet users in recent days, when a publication by the New Mexico Department of Fish and Game, in the United States, invited people to apply for the job of ‘Professional Bear Huggers’.

The publication, made on the entity’s Instagram, is accompanied by tender photos of officers with bear cubs.
But while the photos are heartwarming, this job offer isn’t as simple as hugging bears.
In fact, the entity details that whoever wishes to apply must have the ability to hike in strenuous conditions, as well as having the courage to wade into a bear den.
“Not all field work is so glamorous, but we would love for you to join the team where you can have the experience of your life,” reads the message that accompanies the photos on the social network.

Finally, the post ends with two warnings to general users: “We do not recommend going into bear dens. This was part of a research project in northern New Mexico and all the bears were safely handled under supervision. If you go into a bear den, our officers will have to talk to you.”.
And the second, also with a comic tone, was: “Don’t feed the bears.”
