In Norway The Telemark District Court has dismissed the genocide Anders Behring Breivikin42, on parole, report the news agency AFP and the newspaper VG.

Breivik already announced his desire to get on parole in August 2020which is possible under Norwegian law ten years after the judgment was enforced.

According to the law, there is a high risk that Breivik will re-commit violent crimes when he is released.

“Given his mental state, there is an obvious risk that he will collapse into behavior similar to that which led to the terrorist attacks on July 22, 2011,” the court said, according to VG.

Breivik killed 77 people in the 2011 terrorist attacks in central Oslo and on the island of Utöya.

He was sentenced to 21 years in prison for the act.

Even before the district court’s decision, the Norwegian Public Prosecutor’s Office had taken a negative position on Breivik’s probation application.
