Norris lives his dream
Landau Norris did it: after chasing it for 110 races, the British driver achieved his first victory in Formula 1. In Miami the #4 fulfilled his dream with the help of luck (in the form of a Safety Car that intervened at the perfect moment) but it must be said that fate rewarded the daring Norris for once, who was able to afford to wait longer for a safety car and managed to impose a very important pace with the medium tyres.
Since the Safety Car returned to the pits (lap 32) the Miami Grand Prix has had no history, and the 1999 class legitimized the success by separating none other than Max Verstappento which he gave almost eight seconds at the end of the race.
Norris’ post
The Briton, the 114th driver in F1 history to win a grand prix, spent two whole days celebrating this milestone. Come on Instagram he just shared a story that best expresses his happiness.
“I still don’t know what to say, but this has been my dream since I was a child. I literally haven’t stopped smiling since lap 33. The enormous work to reach this milestone has finally paid off. I appreciated every little gesture of support from my team, my fans and the other riders. I love you: and after all this, we are only at the beginning“.
