Now or never. This is the last weekend to use the online features of Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. As we already knew, from April 9th to 01:00 Italian time the online functions of the two old consoles of the big N will be turned off.
In other words, It will no longer be possible to use online multiplayer modes and any other features of the games that require access to the console servers.
Let's also remember that you cannot purchase new games, already last year when Nintendo closed the digital stores of the two platforms, causing among other things the definitive disappearance of over 1,000 games that do not exist in physical format or in other digital shores. The Virtual Console is also no longer accessible.
You can only use the offline mode, so if you have left something unfinished you have a few days to complete your tasks.
What can still be done with Wii U and 3DS
As we have already explained to you previously, the elimination of online functions is not total. You can still download video games that you already own and you will still be able to download updates for physical games. Everything will be available for some time, it is not clear for how long.
Finally, the services are still active Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporterprobably because they are actually still used and Nintendo/The Pokémon Company prefers to still give players the ability to move their Pokémon.
