The dance floors are still closed and the public of the concerts will have to remain seated, which does not please the organizers
The Official Gazette of the Region (BORM) yesterday published the order of the Ministry of Health with the new restrictive measures to stop the expansion of the coronavirus in this sixth wave. As the Covid Committee already agreed last Monday, the time limit for non-essential activity is eliminated, which will no longer have to be closed from one to six in the morning.
This is a relief for the nightlife sector, although it will be subject to other limitations. For example, dancing is still prohibited and customers must consume sitting at tables, with the obligation to wear a mask to move around the premises. The same happens with those places that hold performances by musical groups and ‘disc-jockeys’. There may be concerts, but with the public seated and with the mask on, except for the moment of consumption, which does not satisfy the organizers.
In this sense, Vox yesterday demanded that the López Miras Executive launch an aid plan for nightlife businesses that have been affected by the restrictive measures, especially in the last month.
On the other hand, one of the novelties is that the prohibitions that were related to the use of menus and elements of shared use in hospitality businesses are no longer in effect. The cloakroom or left-luggage service is also allowed again, “provided that adequate hygiene and disinfection conditions are guaranteed,” says the order published in the BORM.
Likewise, despite the drop in incidence, Health recommends that citizens “reduce social contacts outside stable coexistence groups as much as possible”, limiting meetings to a maximum of ten people, “as well as suspending or postponing those events and celebrations that allow it».
On the other hand, the maintenance of the Covid passport so that the hotel industry can increase its capacity outdoors is at the expense of a new authorization by the Administrative Litigation Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Region of Murcia.
