Green Bay Shock for the Green Bay Packers: Quarterback superstar Aaron Rodgers has Corona. The North American Football League (NFL) announced on Wednesday. Rodgers is not vaccinated against corona, according to NFL information.
Bad news for the Green Bay Packers from the US football professional league NFL: Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers (37) tested positive for Corona and is unable to play the top game on Sunday (10:25 p.m. / ProSieben MAXX) with the Kansas City Chiefs. The franchise announced on Wednesday.
“I just know that he won’t be available this week,” said head coach Matt LaFleur. “We’ll talk about next week when the time comes.” LaFleur made no statement as to whether Rodgers was vaccinated. According to information from the NFL Network, this is not the case.
Jordan Love (23) will replace the MVP of the past season in the team of the German-American Equanimeous St. Brown as playmaker. It will be the youngster’s first appearance on the grid.
Most recently star receiver Davante Adams had already tested positive at the Packers and missed the duel with the Arizona Cardinals (24:21). Defensive coordinator Joe Barry is also in the corona protocol.
Rodgers will now have to stay away from the team for at least ten days and could return to the roster shortly before the game against the Seattle Seahawks (November 14).
