The Department of Kansas City police and the NFL will investigate Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders catcher for shoving a photographer at the end of the game his team lost last Monday to the Chiefs 30-29.
“At the end of the game Chiefs-Raiders the photographer was pushed to the ground causing injuries. The victim arranged for private transportation to the hospital for treatment, and called the police,” read the report released Tuesday by Kansas City police.

Davante Adams went to the locker room upset; before entering the tunnel a photographer crossed his path.
Adams pushed him with both hands, the man fell to the ground, the player looked at him for a moment and continued on his way.
The receiver had already shown his frustration for the 30-29 loss to the Chiefs because on the last play in which they were trying to get within field goal distance to come back, Adams collided with a teammate on his way and the pass he was looking for was incomplete.
After that action, as he entered the bench, Davante slammed his helmet on the ground, then went to the locker room, where the incident with the photographer occurred.
apologies
The NFL confirmed on Tuesday that the Kansas City Police Department received the police report against Davante Adams, for which it is studying the disciplinary measures that it will impose on the player.
Kansas City police said the incident will be investigated by assault unit detectives and the investigation is expected to last one to two days.
At the postgame press conference, the catcher confessed he was sorry for his behavior. “I want to apologize. I was walking off the field and I bumped into him and pushed him. I think he ended up on the ground so I want to apologize to him because that was just the frustration mixed with him running in front of me and I shouldn’t have done it. I want to apologize to him for that,” Adams acknowledged.

The attitude of DaVante Adams is unfortunate, more so in a league in which there are rules towards the media.
But knowing the NFL and its way of protecting the stars, there will be no sanction and if there is, it will be economic, which does not tickle him. pic.twitter.com/H8PYM9jKNk– Crazy about the NFL (@Locos_nfl) October 11, 2022
