They ask for 400 euros per guest for their wedding with the result that almost no one shows up to the ceremony: this is what happened to a married couple from Houston, Texas.
The groom himself, Hassan Ahmed, recounted the strange story in a video posted on TikTok. “Everyone we invited declined the invitation,” the man said in the video.
Hassan, in fact, said that she and her new wife asked each guest for 450 dollars (about 400 euros) to finance their wedding.
“You pay $1,000 for tickets to a Beyoncé or Chris Brown concert, but when you are invited to a wedding with friends and family you can’t afford the ticket? I don’t understand that,” added the groom, pointing out that the wedding cost around $200,000 (over 178,000 euros).
Hassan Ahmed asked his followers for their opinions, but the responses must not have been positive since he later disabled comments.
