Thanks to the resounding success that was the live action series of One Piece, Netflix greenlit a second season. Although the details are not yet available, everything seems to indicate that the filming of the new episodes will not only include a second season, but a third part too.
In a recent interview with Comicbook, Brashaad Mayweather, who played Patty, chef of the Baratie ship-restaurant, the filming schedule of One Piece is quite large, so the actor has pointed out that this could mean that Episodes of the third season would be filmed immediately after the episodes planned for the second season. This is what he said about it:
“We’ll see if they remember it again because they are filming two seasons, the second and the third, consecutively soon. So we’ll see what happens.”
It is important to mention that at the moment there is no official information from Netflix about its plans to film the third season of One Piece. However, It wouldn’t be unreasonable to think that this will be the case, especially considering what they’ve done lately with other productions.
Notably, series like Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Witcher and The 3 body problem were confirmed to have two more seasons. Usually, only one new wave of chapters is confirmed, not two or more, but Netflix has started to change this. In this way, they can reduce production costs, and keep the actors of the same age, and thus avoid problems like those faced Stranger Things.
At the moment, we know that new episodes of the live action series One Piece They are on the way, and will arrive on Netflix in the future. On related topics, One Piece surpasses Dragon Ball sales. Likewise, a One Piece game stands out for its animation.
Author’s Note:
The new chapters of One Piece They have a complicated task. Not only will events loved by fans be adapted, but elements that may fail in an adaptation of this type will also be added, such as Chopper. Let’s hope everything goes well, so the fans are happy.
