NBA | Lauri Markkanen's streak continues – and soon it will end

The Utah Jazz are on the longest losing streak of the season. Luckily for him, the season is over soon.

Basketball in the NBA Lauri Markkanen Utah Jazz's losing streak continued to the seventh game. This time, the Finnish player's team lost to the jumbo San Antonio Spurs of the Western Conference with a score of 111–118.

Markkanen was the second best scorer of his team with 25 points. The Finn grabbed six rebounds, five of them on the defensive end. Of Markkanen's 17 shot attempts, only eight sank in the basket.

Markkanen clocked the longest playing time of the match with just over 42 minutes.

Spurs caught the strongest performances of the match Devin Vassell, who sunk 31 points. Utah's most powerful was Collin Sexton with 26 points.

Utah's clearly weakest quarter was right at the beginning of the match. San Antonio jumped out to a 14-point lead in the opening quarter and held the lead until the end of the game.

Markkanen did not record a single point in the first quarter, of which he played about half.

The seven-game losing streak is the longest of the season for Utah, who is out of the playoffs.

Utah is in 12th place in the Western Conference, or fourth last. There are still nine matches left through that.
