Monterrey, Nuevo León.- In a review of a parcel company, elements of the National Guard (NG) they seized two boxes with 40 packages of marijuana that had been sent from the state of Jalisco and were destined for a city in Tamaulipas.
Through a statement, the federal agency reported the seizure made with the support of a dog trained to detect narcoticswho was commissioned to tour the boarding area to detect the drug among the stored packages.
The corporation did not reveal the day the operation was carried out, only that the parcel is located in San Nicolás.
The text establishes that the drug packages were packed in high-vacuum plastic bags and placed in cardboard boxes.
“The GN personnel noticed that the specimen (trained dog) was attracted by two packages, before which it showed alert, followed by a positive indication of the presence of a possible narcotic.
“During a thorough inspection they located inside the two cardboard boxes, from the municipality of Tlajomulco de ZúñigaJalisco, about 40 high-vacuum bags, containing green and dry grass,” the bulletin indicates.
The agency indicated that the package had a destination address in the state of Tamaulipas, which was not disclosed by the authority.
