Nahyan bin Mubarak: The “Sudan in the Heart of the Emirates” festival embodies sincere nationalist sentiments
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, witnessed the “Sudan in the Heart of the Emirates” festival, which was held today at the Dubai World Trade Center, in the presence of a large and distinguished presence of families from the Sudanese community.
His Excellency stressed, during the festival organized by the Sudanese community in the Emirates in cooperation with the “Emirates Loves Sudan” page, which witnessed the presence of more than 4,000 people and received great interaction from members of the Sudanese community in the country, that “the festival represents important human communication between Sudan and the Emirates.” And out of strong pride in the close fraternal relations that link the two loving countries, and what we are witnessing, praise be to God, from the effects of this love and appreciation on sincere reconciliation and true brotherhood, which unites the two brotherly peoples with a strong bond that embodies the sincere national feelings we feel together that unite us and make us work together for… Emphasizing full and complete cooperation between our two countries, and also for the sake of the advancement of the entire Arab nation, and also for the sake of building bridges of understanding and coexistence with the peoples of the entire world.”
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan said, “The strong relationship between the UAE and Sudan is essentially an ancient and renewed relationship, a relationship based on ideal values and common principles, which we cherish together, which include the values of love of the homeland and pride in the Arab and Islamic nation, in addition to the values of mutual respect.” And the tireless and continuous pursuit of achieving goodness, peace and security for both countries.”
The festival, which enjoyed a distinguished public turnout from members of the Sudanese community, witnessed about 4,000 people, including a number of the most prominent Sudanese figures residing in the country, including businessmen, artists, intellectuals, athletes and others, while its agenda included many entertainment segments and various artistic, performing and heritage performances, in addition to… To a heritage exhibition and a carnival market inspired by the most prominent landmarks of Sudan.
Sudanese artist Nancy Agag participated in the artistic segment with a group of her most prominent works. The artistic segment also witnessed the participation of the artist Mohamed Hamed and a number of the most prominent presenters of “stand-up comedy” and other types of distinguished content, including the Sudanese comedy content maker known as “Bush Bashasha.”
The festival, which aimed to celebrate Sudanese culture, heritage and arts, by inviting members of the Sudanese community and the Sudanese community in the country to interact with its activities, reflects the positive social atmosphere that links the members of the Sudanese community in the Emirates.
