Murcia and Valladolid presented their candidatures to the Spanish Association of Surgeons to host the XXV National Surgery Meeting, which will be held in 2025. The chosen city, through the exclusive vote of the members, will be announced at the 34th National Surgery Congress, which will be held in Madrid from November 7 to 10 this year.
Pablo Ramírez, head of the General and Digestive Surgery service at the Virgen de la Arrixaca, is responsible for Murcia’s candidacy together with the honorary presidents, Pascual Parrilla, Ricardo Robles and Francisco Sánchez Bueno. Ramírez highlighted the attractive challenge that holding the event would mean for all surgeons in the Region.
