Municipal policy Mass exodus in basic Finns in Vantaa – A constant quarrel breaks up the local association

There are only three full members left on the board of the Local Association of Basic Finns.

Vantaa disputes between basic Finns have escalated into a mass exodus from the government of the local association.

Of the ten-member board, seven members and five deputies have resigned from the board since mid-November. Chairman Tomi Salin got fired from the party.

Salin was fired by the party government in early November without any specific justification.

The wave of resignation started with a board meeting with a vice chairman Peter Lammenranta (ps) became interim chairman.

The background is the long-running cat-tail pull of the council group and the local association about, among other things, the role of the chairman and the use of common funds.

Vantaa The bank accounts of basic Finns are the responsibility of the board of the local association, which has caused friction, for example, in the payment of the expenses of the council group’s October cruise. The Board also manages the bank account of the Board of Directors.

Former chairman Salin feels that he has been the target of a chase for the leadership of the council group for a year now.

“One member had tried to ask why Sal should be fired. The answer was that it didn’t matter. You have to get rid of it. ”

Particularly Salin and the members who resigned from the board find it problematic that in early October, the basic Finnish people’s page on Vantaa gathered support for nominating Vice President Lammenranta as chairman.

However, on October 20, the chairman of the delegation group began to rotate Niilo Kärjen (ps) an e-mail in which the subject had changed in order to convene an extraordinary general meeting. The subject would be the dismissal of Tomi Salin.

HS has seen both the Facebook message and Kärje’s email.

Three members who have resigned from the government have made a request to the police for an investigation into document fraud or possible continued fraud. There are no revelators in the hall, but he has been marked as a witness. Police have appointed an investigator-in-charge.

The reason for the request for an investigation is the suspicion that some of the signatories to the exclusion list did not know that they had signed the list specifically requiring Salin to be removed.

Tip denies the possibility of confusion. Those who requested an extraordinary meeting have only sent their replies to a separate email addressing this meeting.

None of the signatories of Salin’s dismissal message has subsequently revoked it.

“We thought it was worth changing the chairman when, despite the support of the internal Facebook group, the board did not convene the autumn meeting,” Kärki explains.

The autumn meeting is scheduled to elect a chairman and a new board.

The current government demanded that the list of names of the dismissal claim be examined in order to verify the accuracy of the signatures.

Before as the government met, Salin was expelled from the party. Thus, at the Board meeting on November 16, Vice Chairman Lammenranta was appointed Chairman until the end of the year.

According to Niilo Kärje, the reports on the signatories of the resignation message were not reviewed at that time, as the request to convene a general meeting to remove the chairman was canceled.

This week, one of those who resigned from the government has been fired from the party, and one has been warned by the party government. According to Kärje, Tynkähallitus has remained quorate with its deputies. The association’s fall meeting is coming up the weekend before Christmas.
