Bayern Munich’s start in the German Bundesliga was not good, perhaps for the first time in years, as the team appeared in a vacillating physical and technical condition, and much less than previous seasons, which raised the fears of many, of the possibility of falling “Tuesday” against Barcelona, which is high with its victories – Domestically and in Europe – who finished his preparations to face the German champions by beating Cadiz 4-0 in the Spanish League “La Liga”.
It seemed clear to observers and game experts that it would be difficult to repeat the great victory that Bayern had previously achieved against “Barca” in the European Champions League, especially in the absence of its former top scorer, Polish Robert Lewandowski. This is the Polish star scorer.
This bad condition that Bayern appeared in its last match in the “Bundesliga” against Stuttgart 2-2 angered its star Thomas Muller, who expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s performance in the match, which is supposed to be the last preparation before facing “Barca”.
In an interview with Sky Germany, Muller admitted that Julian Nagelsmann’s men suffer from a severe decline in level, as evidenced by the fact that they have fallen into a draw trap 3 times since the beginning of the season.
Muller also admitted that these results raise concerns about the preparation for the Barcelona match, in the second round of the Champions League group stage.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever been so angry this season, angry at all of us,” he said.
Muller called on his colleagues to focus during the next stage, and strive to win all matches, and said: We have to realize that if we want to win every match, we must be at our best throughout the match, and realize that our constant ambition is the lead, but on every one. We have to do our part perfectly.
It is noteworthy that despite these fluctuating results, Bayern still leads the “Bundesliga”, but the crowned German champion must prove in the coming weeks that he is worthy of this lead.
