F1 will begin to progressively introduce i biofuels starting from 2022, MotoGP will do the same, but from 2024. The FIM – International Motorcycling Federation – and Dorna, organizer of the championship, announced this in a joint note. 2024 will be a first step with 40% biofuels towards a 2027 in which the goal is to run with 100% petrol not deriving from hard coal.
