Despite a 20 percent decline in revenues to 91.2 billion dirhams, the group said it would pay cash dividends worth 9.066 billion dirhams for its 2023 profits, up from 8.091 billion a year ago.
The group, which is 94 percent owned by Morocco, added that it invested 26.8 billion dirhams last year, an increase of 34 percent.
The investments included two water desalination plants and new fertilizer production lines at its Jorf Lasfar location on the Atlantic Ocean.
