You are looking at 10.5 million euros worth of metal, leather, glass and carbon fiber, served on four beds of very special rubber. The episodes of the unofficially fastest car in the world are getting underway. It seems that at least one copy of the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ is coming to the Netherlands, but it is not that far yet.
These three 300+’ers arrived this week at dealer HR Owen in London. It is 10 percent of the total production, because Bugatti builds only 30 copies. If you just missed the net, you can also buy the normal Super Sport. It has no plus sign after the name, but performs about the same, except for the top speed. The Super Sport only reaches 440 km/h.
Specifications Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+
The Chiron Super Sport 300+ can reach a speed of more than 300 mph, or 480 km/h, when the limiter goes off. On public roads, the Super Sport 300+ is limited. The power required for the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+’s terrifying top speed is 1,600 hp, 100 hp more than the normal Chiron has. This Super Sport also gets a modified transmission with longer gears, needed to reach 300 mph.
Each customer receives a voucher with the purchase to release the car on the Ehra-Lessien test track. The highest measured speed of the 300+ is 490 km/h, but it seems that 500 km/h is doable in this Chiron. The Koenigsegg Agera RS is officially still the fastest car in the world.
