Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court, accepted the request from the Attorney General of the Republic, Paulo Gonet, and ordered the Federal Police to take further steps in the investigation into the alleged crime of disobedience attributed to influencer Bruno Aiub, known as Monark. The corporation will have 30 days to carry out the investigation. The Federal Public Ministry will then have 15 days to denounce Monark or not.
Moraes also ordered the addition of documents required by the PGR to the investigation: the decisions that blocked Monark’s channels and profiles, letters from the Special Advisory Office for Combating Disinformation of the Superior Electoral Court and Monark’s statements to the PF. Gonet considered that Monark “has repeatedly disobeyed the court decision” that suspended the publication of fraudulent news.
The information is from the newspaper The State of S. Paulo.
