The government has approved a plan to implement additional measures to combat the spread of the novel micro-strain of coronavirus and prepare the healthcare system to help those who are ill with COVID-19. The document was discussed on January 18 as part of an expanded meeting of the Coordinating Council to Combat the Spread of Coronavirus. The leaders of the regions, on behalf of Mishustin, must ensure the implementation of the plan, taking its implementation under personal control.
“One instruction concerns the reasonableness of the cost of PCR tests for the presence of COVID-19. The Federal Antimonopoly Service has been entrusted with checking prices. The deadline for the execution of the order is February 1, ”the message says.
Earlier, Mishustin instructed to transfer government employees to a remote mode of work to the maximum in connection with the epidemic situation with COVID-19 in Russia. This measure will affect employees of the government apparatus, federal ministries and their territorial divisions. The Prime Minister’s order came into force on Friday, January 21.
