Ducati ahead of everyone
Second Free Practice session dedicated to Ducati in the afternoon in Misano, where the two riders of the official Borgo Panigale team finished in the first two positions. Specifically, the home driver achieved the best performance Nicolò Bulegaalmost always at the top of the ranking and author of increasingly lower times as the minutes passed, until he signed the best overall performance in the final 1:33.511. A performance that allowed the home rider not only to close in on the lead, but also to generate a significant gap four tenths ahead of his teammate Alvaro Bautistain turn ahead of Remy Gardner’s Yamaha by just 8 thousandths.
Razgatlioglu’s mistake, but not only that
The battle for second position also included the other Ducati of Andrea Iannone’s GoEleven team, 49 thousandths behind the reigning world champion. He instead closes the top-5 Toprak Razgatlioglu, but with little satisfaction. The Turk, who had set the best time this morning in FP1, he lost control of his BMW entering the final bend, thus ending his ordeal early. The #54, however, was not the only one to have made a mistake during the session: before him, in fact, yellow flags had also been displayed for the crashes of Michele Pirro, Alex Lowes and Andrea Locatelli, but all however, they returned to the pits without problems. Once Free Practice for the Emilia-Romagna round is over, the next appointment is tomorrow morning at 10:55 for the Superpole.
