Not only that, the message also serves as a teaser, although very vague, for the next chapter of the series: “and the next main game of Metro by 4A Games…”, we read that it will arrive “when it is ready”.
A new game is coming
Even the image accompanying the message shows a sort of timeline which summarizes the various chapters of the Metro series, starting from the first Metro 2033 to get to Metro Exodus, from which a new deviation starts that leads to Metro Awakening signifying the essence of the spin-off of the VR game.
However, it is interesting to note that the main line continues beyond Metro Exodus and arrives at another “station”, which is currently still operating and can barely be seen, which makes it difficult to read the title precisely.
The latter would be the new main chapter of the series, which has not yet been announced but which, given the success of the franchise, has probably already been in development for some time.
