Leo Messi, who was positive for covid during the end of the year vacations that he went to spend in Argentina, said that it has taken him “longer” than expected to recover from the disease, although he asserted that he already trains with the PSG to get “100%”.

“It took me longer than I thought to be well, but I’ve almost recovered and I’m really looking forward to getting back on the court. I’ve been training these days to get 100%, very nice challenges are coming this year and hopefully very soon we’ll we can see again,” he said on his Instagram account.
The Argentine star has been in Paris since last week, but his return to group training has been postponed, despite having been presenting negative covid tests for days.
PSG’s “30” was absent last Sunday in the league tie in Lyon (1-1). His participation on Saturday against Brest is still unknown.
