The heart of the Mercedes AMG GT Track Series is the engine 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 of the Mercedes AMG GT Black Series. For example, thanks to custom motorsport injectors and a specific engine application, the power unit equipped with a flat crankshaft now delivers 580 kW (734 hp) and a maximum torque of 850 Nm.
The sequential gearbox Hewland HLS 6-speed racing with differential adjustable transfers power to the rear axle. As in all models of the GT family, it was installed on the rear axle in configuration transaxle and has a torsion-resistant and torque-resistant connection to the engine through a carbon fiber twist tube. The suspension of the Mercedes AMG GT Track Series is equipped with shock absorbers Bilstein four-way fully adjustable.
Each has a high-speed and low-speed setting in the rebound and compression levels and also allows you to adjust the ride height. Furthermore, the anti-roll bars they are individually adjustable to ensure an individual setup.

Another direct derivative of motorsport is the exclusive hood quaint with great snorkel. It drives hot air from the engine compartment, increases overall downforce and at the same time contributes to engine cooling.
Another special development for the Mercedes AMG GT Track Series is the 18-inch wheels high gloss milled and forged, the ideal rim size for GT racing cars which can be equipped with all types of competition tires.
A particular aesthetic feature is represented by the exclusive special semi-gloss finish in MANUFAKTUR hightech silver magno with design elements in red and anthracite.

As in the GT3 and GT4, a ‘racing electronics easy to use and maintain that includes racing-specific traction control and a motorsport ABS, each adjustable to 12 levels (level 1: maximum TC / ABS activity, level 11: minimum TC / ABS activity, level 12: off mode).
The brake components are also tested in motorsport. The GT Track Series is equipped with steel brakes (front axle: 390mm / rear axle 355mm). In addition, a brake beam to adjust the brake balance.
