The fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul captured the attention of half the world. Boxing fans and well-known faces followed the most anticipated fight of the year to the minute. The Irish fighter Conor McGregor did not want to miss it either and during his celebration he left a controversial message on social networks that he ended up deleting.
Mike Tyson’s poor performance, nothing like what he did decades ago in the ring, made McGregor explode on social media. “They are considering Prichard Colón as their next opponent”the Irishman wrote, criticizing Paul’s choice of rival.
That message set the networks on fire, especially because the Puerto Rican-American Prichard Colón was left in a coma for 221 days after Terrel Williams, during a combat, I gave him numerous blows to the back of the head back in 2015.
Furthermore, after waking up from a coma, Columbus was left in a vegetative state that, although he has been improving, he is still in a wheelchair and with daily assistance due to irreversible brain damage.
After the controversy generated by that comment, Conor McGregor chose to delete the tweet and act as if nothing had happened, but he had already arrived halfway around the world.
