Young international star Kylian Mbappe is still enjoying his presence in Paris Saint-Germain after “five exceptional years” he spent with the team, but he will not pledge to stay until the end of the current season.
When asked about the future, Mbappe told TNT Sports, “I don’t know yet.”
He explained: “I am in Paris, I have already said that I have spent five exceptional years here, I have enjoyed every moment and continue to do so. “Here’s a lot of important things to come, great opportunities, but I’ve already talked about that before.
Mbappe, 22, joined Saint-Germain in 2017 from Monaco, and won the top scorer in the French League in the last three seasons, but there is a great possibility of his departure at the end of next June.
Mbappe is close to the last six months of his contract, which means that he will become a free player if he continues to refuse to renew his contract with Saint-Germain.
Real Madrid has been trying for two years to sign Mbappe, and has made three offers to sign the French national team star during the last summer transfers, but all of them were rejected by the Saint-Germain administration.
Saint-Germain seems confident in his ability to convince Mbappe to stay in the end, especially with the player stressing the importance of great opportunities in Paris.
