Mazón’s number two in the PP is co-owner of two companies with eight homes, but does not declare any

The general secretary of Carlos Mazón’s PP, popular spokesperson in the Corts Valencianes and mayor of Finestrat, Juan Francisco Pérez Llorca, declared before the regional Parliament that he was not the owner of any real estate, whether urban or rural. He did declare stakes in two companies that he shares with his brothers and whose shares he valued at less than 100,000 euros. But reality hid an asset of the value assigned to those shares and that he hid, or did not want to detail in his declaration of assets before the Valencian Courts. The two family companies, a real estate company and a real estate developer, have assets of 4.3 million euros and manage eight homes, including a duplex, three parking spaces, five storage rooms and three plots of land on urban land and six fields of crop.

Thus, according to information from the Property Registry of Vila Joiosa collected by elDiario.es, the company Rancallosa I SL, in which Pérez Llorca has 15 shares and of which he is the attorney, owns three homes in Orxeta and others. three in Finestrat, where he is mayor. In the municipality that he governs, one of the houses has 65 square meters in addition to a garden, a second 128 square meters and the third is a country house with 500 meters of plot.

In Orxeta the houses owned by the firm have 144 square meters, another 107 and a third 144 square meters. This company also owns three urban plots of 30, 36 and 46 square meters, respectively, and a parking space in Orxeta. The real estate firm also has a 6,200 square meter field in Sella, another in Orxeta of 799 square meters and 3,913 square meters of orchard land in Finestrat. We must add three other fruit plots in Finestrat of 1,600, 1,400 and 5,500 square meters, respectively.

For its part, the family firm Alt de Pérez SL, in which Pérez Llorca declares that he owns 126 shares, manages a 102 square meter duplex in Finestrat and a 107 square meter home in Orxeta. This real estate developer also has five storage rooms, a parking space and a plot of urban land measuring 4,500 square meters.

Assets of 4.3 million

This flood of properties managed by the two companies that have assets worth five million euros contrasts with Pérez Llorca’s statement before the Valencian Parliament, in which he said he did not have real estate and possessed non-real estate assets worth 113,442. euros. Mazón’s ‘number two’ valued his shares in Rancallosa I SL and Alt de Pérez SL at just over 113,000 euros, and noted several vehicles, “bank accounts” and “securities accounts.”

Rancallosa I SL, according to the latest accounts presented in 2019 to the Commercial Registry, has assets of 3.4 million euros, while Alt de Pérez SL has 860,000 euros, also according to its accounts from the same year. In total, both companies have total assets of 4.3 million euros.

The PP spokesperson in the Corts Valencianes also did not declare the family home in which he usually resides in Pla de la Vila de Finestrat. This is the house that has a swimming pool, a gazebo and a parking lot that is located in a non-developable area, so all construction would be illegal. Of course, having been built 15 years before the last urban planning law in force – the LOTUP – they should not be demolished as the irregularity has been prescribed. Furthermore, the extensions to the house and the pool that were made in 2016 and 2017 would not have been possible either.

When asked by this newspaper, Juan Francisco Pérez Llorca explained that the home in which he resides did not have to be declared because it is family property. “If I declared it I would have had problems with my brothers,” in reference to the fact that the property is not only his. The companies did declare them, although the real value was, at the very least, undervalued.
