Marijuana: Gallup reveals that half of Americans have tried it

A recent survey of Gallup revealed that marijuana and drug use have divided Americans.

49% of those surveyed consider the effect of marijuana on society to be positive, in contrast to 50% who consider it negative.

The results were revealed by Gallup as part of a large consumer survey that it conducted between July 5 and 26, and which it conducts every year.

Another of the important indexes of the survey is that the vast majority of adults who say they have tried the dope Sometime (nearly half of Americans) think the effects of marijuana on users (70%) and society in general (66%) are positive.

As expected, those who have never tried the dope they think that its effects are negative: 72% say so about its effect on society and 62% about its effect on users.

Among the interesting conclusions of the survey, it was established that men are more likely to consume dopealthough both men and women agree to smoke it and consume edibles.

In terms of age, between 18 and 34, they are the ones who use marijuana the most: 30% of this group say they smoke it and 22% consume edibles.

Finally, the educational level is not a discriminator insofar as the consumption of dopeand parties are the places where the possibility of smoking it or consuming products made with the plant increases the most.
