Marcelo unleashes madness in Greece in his presentation with Olympiacos

More than 20,000 fans of the Olympiacos went this afternoon to the “Georgios Karaiskakis” stadium in Athens to see up close and give a warm welcome to the Brazilian international side Marcelowhom the Greek team signed on Friday.

Fans of Greece’s biggest team couldn’t afford to miss out on the coming out party for the 34-year-old Brazilian, who according to Greek media has agreed a one-year contract with Olympiacos, with the possibility of an extension for another year.

Marcelo entered the court accompanied by his son and his wife wearing the red and white jersey of the Athenian team with the number 12, which immediately caused enthusiasm in the Karaiskakis stands.

“I am very happy, my family is also very happy to be here,” Marcelo told the Olympiacos fans, whom he thanked for the welcome they gave him.

“I want to start training now and be with the team now,” added the Brazilian footballer. Olympiacos surprised the football world last Friday by announcing that it had signed

Marcelo, who scored 38 goals for Real Madrid, has been capped 58 times by the Brazilian team, with two appearances in the World Cups, in 2014 and 2018. Olympiacos is the biggest team in Greece, and in the last ten years it has he has won the Greek league eight times and the Greek Cup three times, a period in which he has only missed three times in the group stage of the Champions League.
