Mafia: Raduano captured in France, Nuoro escaped from prison
Marco Raduano, 40 years old, was captured in France. the Vieste boss at the top of the clan of the same name, who has been on the run for exactly one year since he escaped from the maximum security prison of Badu' and Carros in the province of Nuoro on 24 February 2023. Raduano managed to escape by lowering himself from the prison wall with knotted sheets.

Mafia: Troiano arrested in Spain, right-hand man Raduano
Gianluigi Troiano, 30 years old from Vieste, considered the right-hand man of the boss Marco Raduano, who has been on the run since 11 December 2021, has been arrested. Troiano, known as “U' Minorenn”, had managed to escape from house arrest by applying the “electronic bracelet” from Campomarino, in the province of Campobasso. Troiano had been sentenced to nine years and two months of imprisonment and perpetual ban from public office as part of the trial called 'Snow of March', the operation which, in 2019, dismantled the Raduano clan.
Troiano was arrested in Granada in Spain while he was picking up a package while Radunano was arrested in Bastia, in Haute-Corsica, while he was having dinner in a restaurant with a girl. The two fugitives were arrested by the same group of ROS carabinieri that arrested Matteo Mesina Denaro.
