To ensure that the money actually reaches those who need it, The city pledged to oversee funding which, for now, is planned to be designated to three local non-profit organizations:
- The Coalition for Human Rights of Immigrants
- Romero Clinic
- Central American Resource Center
These bodies will have the opportunity to use the money to provide migrants with shelterfor example in motels, in addition to provide them with other support such as food, clothing, transportation and more.
