Hungary, Luigi Bisignani is also under investigation. Amara is credible and gives the names
The Amara case broke out again, with even more power than a few months ago. There are now about ten suspects for the alleged Masonic lodge called Hungary which, according to the great prosecutor and former Eni lawyer, would have included many powerful people. In addition to Amara himself, another ten people have been entered in the register and among these names stands out – we read in the Corriere della Sera – in addition to that of Denis Verdini also that of Luigi Bisignani, 68 years old, journalist and author of spy novels. The accusation for all is of “violation of the law that prohibits secret associations”.
Yesterday – continues the Corriere – he was questioned in Perugia by the prosecutor Raffaele Cantone and by the substitutes Gemma Miliani and Mario Formisano. Denying membership of the alleged lodge: “I heard about it for the first time from the newspapers that reported Amara’s statements.” The former journalist explained that he has known Verdini for some time, the former Forza Italia parliamentarian now in home detention to serve a sentence for the crack of the Florentine credit, and that he actually introduced Amara to him. But without hints of any lodge. Then he and Amara met on other occasions, especially to talk about Eni-Nigeria, the Milanese trial in which Bisignani was also accused, acquitted in the first instance like the others.
