Together through everyday life: Frieda also accompanies Franziska Poscht when she goes shopping – if there are no difficulties in getting in together.

Franziska Poscht suffers from seizures. Her assistant dog enables the young woman to cope with her everyday life. But the search for a successor turns out to be difficult because the training is expensive.
WWhen Frieda barks, Franziska Poscht knows that she only has a few minutes. She then looks for a quiet place, as far away as possible from the action. She sits down on the floor with her legs outstretched, takes off her bag and puts it a bit away, unzips her jacket a little. The labrador lay down on her thighs for a moment to ground the twenty-year-old. So Poscht waits until the seizure begins. “The waiting is always the worst.”
Frieda stays by her side the whole time, calm but alert. The service dog is trained for situations like this. She smells when a seizure is imminent and warns Franziska Poscht. If necessary, she takes over the search for a quiet place or a bench on command and leads them there, helps them to walk, presses the emergency button in their room or brings passers-by the emergency bag that their owner always has with them.
