08.18 – Miguel Oliveira (KTM, HM) is the leader in 1’32.707, ahead of Marc Marquez (Honda, MM) in 1’32.847 and Jack Miller (Ducati, MS) in 1’33.061.
08.14 – Changing of the guard at the top, first is Takaaki Nakagami (Honda LCR, MM) in 1’33.265, second is Enea Bastianini (Ducati Gresini, MM) at +0.021, third Zarco (Ducati Pramac, MM) at +0.045.
08.12 – Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) stopped between Turn 3 and 4, his M1 went out. Meanwhile Johann Zarco (Ducati Pramac, MM) takes the lead in 1’33.310.
08.10 – The time monitor begins to fill up: the leader is Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha, MS) in 1’34.410, behind him Marc Marquez (Honda, MM) and Jack Miller (Ducati, MS).
08.05 – Green light for Mandalika Free Practice 2 – 45 minutes available for MotoGP riders to earn a position in the Top 10. In fact, the weather forecast for tomorrow is uncertain, more prone to rain.

07.50 – The Mandalika track is confirmed dry also for Free Practice 2, starting in fifteen minutes. The MotoGP riders have remained far from the times set during the February tests, if we think that the reference lap of Pol Espargarò (Honda) stopped the clock at 1’31.060.
07.30 – This morning in Free Practice 1 in Mandalika the fastest was Pol Espargarò (Honda) in 1’33.499, behind him Miguel Oliveira (KTM) and Marc Marquez (Honda). The session was humid initially, with the track gradually drying out. The best of the Ducatis was Johann Zarco (Pramac), 5th, the fastest of the Yamaha Franco Morbidelli 4th. Enea Bastianini (Ducati Gresini) finished 8th, just ahead of ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia (Ducati) 9th, Joan Mir (Suzuki) 10th and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) only 16th.
