The Formula 2 grid for the 2025 season adds another piece to the puzzle. In recent days, in fact, there have been announcements of several changes and future arrivals in the preparatory class that precedes F1: Formula 3 champion Leonardo Fornaroli, in fact, will join the Invicta team next year, while Christian Mansell will make his F2 debut in Azerbaijan with Trident this weekend, after being confirmed for the final three rounds of the year.
They are joined by Gabriele Minì, who will be on the track with Prema replacing Oliver Bearman for this weekend only, but the Italian driver’s future revolves around Formula 2. Drivers who will also have to compete with Arvid Lindblad next year: The British driver, who is part of the Red Bull academy, will race for Campos, where championship leader Isack Hadjar currently races.
Lindblad had a great debut season in Formula 3, winning the opening sprint race of the championship in Bahrain, followed by victories in Spain and his home race in Great Britain. Results that allowed him not only to fight for the world title until the final Grand Prix of the season in Monza, where he did not have a brilliant weekend, but which then encouraged Red Bull to take him to Formula 2.

“I am thrilled to be joining Campos Racing in FIA F2 for 2025. The team is having an amazing season so far and I can’t wait to start working together,” said Lindblad.
“I am looking forward to joining the long list of drivers who have raced for the team in the past and being part of its heritage and the legacy of Mr. Adrián Campos. The team seems very passionate, hungry and motivated to win. They will give me the tools and knowledge to continue to grow as a driver, while we push each other to be better. I want to thank everyone at Red Bull, the Junior Team and Campos Racing for the opportunity. I can’t wait to get started,” added the Briton, who next year will compete against several drivers he has already raced with in Formula 3 this year.
Team principal Adrian Campos knows he will be able to count on a talented driver, on whom Red Bull has great hopes: “We are happy to have a driver like Arvid in our ranks for 2025, as he is immensely talented, and we are sure that together we have very important goals to achieve.”
“We have the winter months to work on making sure he is as prepared as possible for his debut next season. We will use all our experience to make his transition as smooth and successful as possible.”
